NAB SMALL MARKET TELEVISON EXCHANGE
1. TIMES ARE TOUGH: We know a lot of stations are wondering how to make it to the NAB Small Market Television Exchange this year. We have a solution using the resource you have the most of –AIRTIME! 2. NAB SMALL MARKET EXCHANGE PACKAGE FOR TRADE: We estimate the package at about $2,000 per person (estimated airfare, registration fee and hotel). You may need more the closer you get to the event if airline fares go up, we can always do more trade for you. We have partnered with The Incentive Plus Network and Apex Media to make this happen. 3. HOW DOES THE TRADE WORK? We do Long Form (half hours) or short form (: 30’s &: 60’s spots ). This is IPN/Apex-only exclusive inventory dedicated to the proposition. For Short Form the station runs performance-based DR (Direct Response) spots that pay out on a pre-negotiated pay-out. 4. WHAT IS THE TRADE RATIO? For Long Form the trade is 1 to 1 net after agency commissions, which works out to 1.38 to 1 on the gross. There is a 15% Ad agency commission for the advertiser and 15% for Media Agency, who converts the trade into cash. Your station utilizes the net amount to purchase our products and services. For Short Form it is performance-based (P.I.) so the pay outs are per industry standards minus 15% media agency commission. Simple, both are done with a one-page deal memo. 5. WHAT IS THE TOTAL DEAL? When you factor in the trade ratio as well as the 15 % on the VISA card in long form time it takes $3,184 in long form time or $2,709 in short form payouts to get the $2,000 in VISA cards for your NAB SMTE package. Once we issue your VISA card you can book the trip just as you would with any credit card. 6. HOW LONG IS THE DEAL: We are allowing stations to have until the end of the March, 2011 to run the time to cover their NAB SMTE deal. 7. ANY RESTRICTIONS? : We ask that when we do your deal you give us a contract of all the time you will be running and that it be non-preemptable time.
